Description
An unusual and rare species of Begonia, commonly known as ‘palm leaf Begonia’. Dark green, palmate leaves are divided into lance-shaped leaflets. A thick rhizome protrudes from the soil, resembling a woody trunk growing in unusual shapes. Blush pink flowers appear in clusters in late winter or early spring..
WATERING
In S/S water when 30% of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow soil to dry out 60%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser 3-4 times between March – November.
REPOTTING
Repot when plant is crowding pot, roughly every 1-2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost.
