Begonia erythrophylla ‘Black Jungle’

Description

Dark and dramatic and undulating with mystery, the Begonia erytrophylla ‘Black Jungle’ is sure to slink its way into your heart. Easier to care for than its fussier cousin the Begonia rex, the erytrophylla requires less humidity due to its thicker, glossier leaves.

WATERING

In S/S water when 30% of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow soil to dry out 60%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser 3-4 times between March – November.

REPOTTING

Repot when plant is crowding pot, roughly every 1-2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost.
