Description
Known commonly as Purple Birch, Betula Pendula Purpurea is a stunning, medium-sized Birch tree. This tree produces striking dark-purple foliage, that contrasts beautifully with its silver-white bark. In spring, the Purple Birch displays an abundance of Catkins.
Slower growing than other Silver Birch plant can be grown in a position of full sun or partial shade in any moist and well-drained soil, except for chalky. A wonderful specimen plant for any type of garden.
