Description
Our Rubus fruticosus Tiny Black is a compact, deciduous shrub that produces tasty, edible fruit. It bears green, palmate leaves that grow on thornless stems, alongside small, elegant, white flowers in both Spring and Summer. Delicious Blackberries will follow this, showing a red colour initially, before ripening to black when they harvest in mid-Summer. The berries will remain until the first frosts in Autumn, bringing great flavour to Summer shakes, juices, jams and more.
They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
