Blackcurrant Ben Hope

Description

Our Ribes nigrum Ben Hope is a deciduous, bushy habited shrub. It is grown for its tasty, edible Blackcurrant fruits that will be ready to harvest in Summer. The plant also bears dark green foliage that contrasts perfectly against the pale green flowers of this variety. Once fully grown and ready to pick, you can use the wonderful fruit in everyday meals or choose to eat them individually.

They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
