Blechnum Volcano

Description

The Blechnum ‘Volcano’, more commonly known as the Dwarf Brazilian tree is an exotic take on the standard garden fern, providing a stunning hue of colours and visuals all year-round. The tall arching stems bear large, glossy leaves which emerge with a strong pink-red colour and mature to bronze and then green.

Plant in humus-rich, well-drained soil. Water regularly. Be wary of the colder months and provide adequate shelter through mulching and compost. Sensitive to cold and frost and may suffer damage from watering too heavily in Winter. May be kept under glass to protect from harsh weather.
