Description
Vaccinium corymbosum ‘Goldtraube’ or Highbush Blueberry is a fast growing deciduous shrub with a spreading, upright growth habit. It is known for its consistent, reliable and heavy yields of sweet, deep blue berries. It is also commonly used as an ornamental plant, with its lovely little white-pink flowers in the spring, backed by mid-green ovate leaves which change to a fiery orange-red in the autumn, providing a vivid and colourful garden display.
This variety of blueberry will grow well in full sun or partial shade, and does well either planted or potted. It prefers well-drained, acid soils and requires maintained moisture. If growing in containers ericaceous is advised. Keep well watered throughout the summer.
