Description
Sow the seeds on moist soil at a depth of 5-8mm, from the last frost through to early autumn.
Gently compress the soil and place it in a bright location, between 16-20°C.
Water as necessary, and the seeds should germinate between 7-12 days.
When the seedlings are 5-8cm, transplant them into their final growing position, 30-50 cm apart.
If the seedlings were sown directly outdoors, thin to 30cm apart when they reach 8cm.
To harvest, cut the cabbage head at ground level.
