Cactus – Aylostera muscula Seeds

Aylostera muscula

This is small clumb-forming cactus forming a low cushion which has large vibrant flowers. The seed has been harvested from Prof Ralph Martins extensive collection.

Sow in a tray using well drained cactus potting compost, water. Cover the pot for germination. The seed will start to germinate in 2 – 3 weeks but may take much longer
Pot up when the seeds are large enough to handle in well drained cactus compost. Some seedlings will grow slowly so be patient before potting them all up.
