Description
Calathea Surprise Star is an indoor plant that, on the eye is very pleasing to look at. Throughout the plants foliage, it boasts the gorgeous mix of both black and deep pink colouring, with both colours adding to the attractive reputation it has gained over time. More commonly known as the Rose Painted Calathea, the plant will purify the air by using its air-purifying qualities – removing harmful pollutants and unwated toxins, dispersing fresh oxygen in return. Direct sunlight should be avoided when placing the plant indoors as those conditions will affect the plants leaf colouring and state. Make sure you water the plant once every two weeks, with misting being required between those periods. Finally, do not allow the plant to sit in water for a period of time as this will also have an adverse affect on its ability to thrive as time goes on.
