Sow seeds 12 mm deep in trays or modules and keep the soil moist.
Germination will occur in 1421 days.
Transfer single seedlings to individual small pots when they can be handled.
Maintain a temperature of 15-18c to prevent bolting.
Harden off young plants before transplanting in May.
Space plants 30-40 cm apart.
Harvest from late September to November when roots are fully developed.
