Chives Growing Instructions
Sow your seeds directly onto a moistened growing medium, which is 3-4cm deep.
Lightly mist the seeds with water.
Place the seeded tray into a second tray without drainage holes. This will allow you to bottom water the tray
Cover with another tray on top to stop light getting in.
Leave the seeds undisturbed for 2 days. After this, gently mist when the soil is dry.
After 2-7 days or once the seeds are 1-2cm, they should be ready to be placed in a well-lit location.
When watering the seedlings, keep using the bottom tray.
Harvest between day 10-18 or when the seedlings are 5cm tall, with the first true leaves. Cut the stems above the soil line with a knife or scissors.
