Description
Members of the genus Chlorophytum, native to tropical areas of Southern Africa, are typically known as ‘spider plants’, thanks to their long slender arching leaves which are spider-like in appearance. Like other spider plants this variety produces a big family of plantlets on stems reaching out from the pot, which are happy either hanging from their parent or trimmed and propagated into new plants. Chlorophytum ‘Hawaiian Spider’ has deep green leaves with a bright green streak in the centre.
