Description
Codiaeum Petra is a stunning, well known houseplant for its vibrant foliage. This evergreen plant has beautiful, long oval shaped leaves that will initially appear green and white, then as the plant matures they will turn to dark red. The plants will require a fair amount of watering during flourishing season. A good indication to water is, once the soil feels dry to the touch it’s time to water it again, additionally as the plant is native to more humid environments, the leaves will require a light misting to keep them fresh.
Carefully consider the household location for this plant. They will be fine in full sun but they do like being situated in a more humid location like a conservatory or bathroom. The plant will thrive if it is frequently moved or not properly cared for.
