Description
Endemic to Mexico, this globular cactus grows slightly depressed, with thick fleshy tubercles tipped with curved radial spines which with maturity form a cage around the fleshy globe. The blooms of Coryphantha elephantidens are what really makes it stand out, with delicate pink-red blooms spreading wide atop the apex during the growing season.
WATERING
Water thoroughly and regularly when soil is 100% dry during the spring/summer months. Refrain from watering during the winter months.
