Description
Vaccinium Macrocarpon ‘Langlois’ – commonly known as Langlois Cranberry – is a low-growing, perennial shrub with dark green, evergreen foliage. In late spring – early summer, the leaves are accompanied by small white flowers, with just a touch of pink. By autumn, clusters of bright red cranberries, which are more elongated in shape than other varieties, will start to ripen.
Growing to an ultimate height of 10-20cm and an ultimate spread of 75cm-1m, Vaccinium Macrocarpon ‘Langlois’ is an excellent choice for any garden in cooler climates thanks to its hardiness. It’s also an excellent plant for providing ground cover, due to its creeping nature. And of course, the tart cranberries are perfect for making desserts, pies, jams, juices and more.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only – The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
