Description
Vaccinium macrocarpon ‘Stevens’, commonly known as Stevens Cranberry, makes an excellent plant for both the culinary or ornamental garden. It’s dark green leaves will turn into beautiful bronze or red in winter. In Spring, they will be filled with stunning white flowers, turning to a soft, fragrant pink by summer, and producing an abundance of bright red edible cranberries by mid-Autumn.
Growing to an ultimate heigh of up to 1-2ft. and a width of 1-3ft., Vaccinium macrocarpon Stevens makes a great addition to any garden. The berries are perfect for making jams, desserts and drinks, but the shrub itself will also provide beautiful ground cover, or can also be used in hanging baskets or planters for a stunning cascading effect.
