Cycas revoluta

Description

These pre-Jurassic symmetrical palms supports a crown of shiny, deep green leaves. Abnormally slow-growing, the Cycas revoluta will reach maturity in roughly 100 years.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. Avoid watering the crown of the plant.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser 2-3 times a year.

REPOTTING

Repot every 3 years or alternatively replace the top 10cm of the soil with fresh house plant compost every 2 years.
