Description
A beautifully formed clump of arching, long, deeply toothed, silver-grey leaves is enough in itself. But later, when the flowers arrive, it is even more spectacular. These are carried on tall, stout stems and look like large, purple thistles. Not the edible sort but lovely in flower arrangements; fresh or dried.
