Cytisus Fulgens

Description

Cytisus Fulgens are small garden shrubs that are ideal for any outdoor space. Their compact size is ideal for filling gaps in beds and borders and makes this the ideal shrub for brightening up the patio in a plant pot.

Also known as Common Broom, these garden plants have an upright growing habit. They produce upright green stems that bear small, dark-green, three-palmate leaves from spring to autumn. In late spring, bright, fragrant, yellow-orange flowers adorn the broom plant, making it a magnet for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Cytisus are low maintenance outdoor plants that grow well left to their own devices. Plant these flowering shrubs in full sun and ensure the soil is well drained. Garden brooms don’t cope well with waterlogged soil and hate being transplanted, so pick your spot carefully!
