Description
Delphinium Highlander Flamenco is a herbaceous perennial that will produce gorgeous, frilly flowers throughout Summer. Each bloom grows upward and has an array of colour through deep and dusky pink on the outer section, with a cream centre. At the plants base, lobed, dark green foliage creates a great contrast to display in any area of the garden. It also has a strong resistance to disease and is a magnet for bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
Growing to an ultimate height of 1m and spread of 0.3m, this Delphinium will be the perfect fit for most areas of the garden. They are low maintenance plants that prefer to be grown in full sunlight. Plant in a moist, well-drained soil and then only give it water when the soil is dry to touch. Any spent flowers should be deadheaded and frosted Winter foliage should be pruned.
