Echinopsis ‘Haku-jo Maru’

Description

Echinopsis grows primarily in South America, however Echinopsis ‘Haku-jo Maru’ has been cultivated in Japan. This unusual cultivar forms wooly areoles along its ribs which produce a distinct fuzzy line.

WATERING

Water when soil is dry 100%. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March – November.

REPOTTING

Repot every other year, or when it has outgrown it’s pot. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
