Description
Dense, compact evergreen with rich, dark green small leaves. It bears small white flowers in June and July then occasionally attractive pink berries. Suitable for any moist but well drained soil, even heavy clay. For best colour plant in full sun, but is tolerant of partial or full shade. Makes a strong but slow growing dwarf hedge and is an excellent substitute for box where blight may be a problem. Very easy to keep as a neat small hedge or it is good for use as topiary.
