Euphorbia inermis

Description

With crawling textured stems that emerge from the centre of the plant, this species is particularly reminiscent of an life-form from another planet. Both medusoid and caudex, this is possibly one of the most fascinating members of the mind-bogglingly big Euphorbiaceae genus.

WATERING

In S/S water when 90% of the soil has dried out. During the winter months allow the soil to dry out 100% watering very little every 1-2 months. Avoid watering directly onto the caudex.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

FEED

Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.

REPOTTING

Repotting once every 2-3 years to replenish soil. Use a cactus compost with a good mix of perlite.
