Euphorbia tirucalli ‘Sticks on Fire’

Description

This plant feels as if it belongs under the sea with its ‘Pick up sticks’ branches that grow this way and that. New growth appears bright coral orange at the tip of each branch and gently fades to a citrus yellow. A real firecracker.

WATERING

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every month). Spring gradually increase watering – depending on temperature and light exposure.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright.

FEED

If not repotting then you can use a well-balanced cactus feed every month from April – September.

REPOTTING

Repot this plant every two years to replenish the soil and to allow extra room for the roots to spread out. Use a cactus compost.
