Euphorbia uhligiana

Description

This succulent shrub can be found in the dry deserts between Kenya and Tanzania. Densely tufted multi branched stems form from a thick fleshy root. Deep green spiky stems sometimes emerge with light variegation.

WATERING

In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly. In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temperature and light exposure.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun. Leaves will turn a nice purple colour with lots of light.

FEED

Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year.

REPOTTING

Repotting once every 2-3 years to replenish soil. Use a cactus compost with a good mix of perlite.
