Description
Hardy fuchsia with small, dark green leaves which are slightly bronzed. From summer to autumn, it will produce a mass of small, single flowers with crimson tubes and sepals and violet-purple corollas. With its robust, upright habit, in warmer area it will make a colourful flowering hedge if planted 45cm apart. Plant in sun or partial shade in fertile, moist but well drained soil where it will grow to 1.2 – 1.5m with a spread of 1 to 1.5m. In warmer areas it could reach up to 2m. In colder areas it will die back in winter but trim back in spring and it will re-shoot.
