Description
A hardy and resilient plant with a low growing, spreading habit. The Geranium ‘Johnson’s Blue’ is a great option for woodland displays or as groundcover at the base of trees or borders with its dense, clumping foliage of lobed or cut mid-green leaves. slender stems appear above the foliage carrying free flowering panicles of violet-blue flowers with soft, rounded petals which appear throughout the Summer and are highly attractive to pollinators. The foliage gains hues of red and gold in the Autumn months.
Plant in moderately moist, well-drained, humus-rich, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Drought tolerant once established and very easy to grow in most soil types.
