Description
Masses of single, long lasting, brilliant orange blooms with attractive yellow stamens in clusters on long, upright stems throughout the summer, excellent for cutting. Being pollen and nectar rich they are a magnet to bees and butterflies. When faded they form attractive fluffy seed heads. It forms a neat rosette of hairy, scallop shaped, fresh green leaves. Perfect for mixed or herbaceous borders, rock gardens or gravel. Grow in rich soil in a sheltered, sunny position, not in water-logged soil. To prolong flowering deadhead regularly. Height and spread 30-50cm (12-15ins).
