Description
Heliconia Latispatha is a native to Central and South America, the typical paddle shaped upright leaves form but have a very thin maroon coloured margin, with upright flowers with the bracts forming in spirals. An evergreen herbaceous perennial, the cultivated variety Orange Gyro produces bright orange flowers, and can bloom throughout the year in warmer climates, in cooler climates typically only in Spring and Summer.
