Description
Alkanet Anchusa Officinalis
This is a bi-annual plant, which soft and hairy with narrow leaves and attractive, violet flowers similar to borage and comfrey. It has large, fleshy root yields, which can be used as red dye.
Sow from April to June ready to plant out in the final location in the autumn.
