Description
Sow very thinly on good fine well draining seed compost, under-cover with warmth provided, from 8 weeks before the last frost.
Barely cover the seed.
Germination 14-21 days under correct conditions.
Can be sown outdoors in late spring after the soil has warmed.
Thin/transplant to trays/pots when large enough to handle and grow on under cooler conditions.
This is easy to grow from seed, but it is a bit of a slow germinator.
To reduce self-sowing, cut it back after bloom.
