500x Herb Claytonia Winter Purslane Seeds
An outstanding winter leaf that is a must-have because of its mild flavour and amazingly succulent, tender, and juicy texture. The heart-shaped, elegant-looking leaves of winter purslane, also known as miners lettuce or claytonia, are tiny, plentiful, and make a fantastic cut-and-come-again salad green. All through the winter and early spring, you’ll be able to harvest fruitfully, and if you let it self-seed, it will just grow back every year.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Herb Claytonia Winter Purslane seeds from August to September. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm summer days. Harvest from October to March.
