Description
Herb Comfrey Symphytum Officinale
Herb Comfrey (Symphytum Officinale) is a deep-rooted perennial herb which is traditionally used as a green manure. It is often used for improving soil fertility by accumulating key nutrients such as potassium, calcium, and phosphorus from deep within the subsoil. These nutrients are stored in the plants broad, fast-growing leaves, which can be composted, used as mulch, or processed into a nutrient-rich liquid fertiliser often referred to as comfrey tea.
