Growing Instructions
Sow seeds indoors all year round, or directly outdoors after the last frost.
Plant seeds 1cm deep in well-drained soil.
Keep soil consistently moist until germination, ideally at 18-21c.
Germination occurs between 14-21 days but can take up to 40 days.
If sown indoors, transplant seedlings to sunny, sheltered position, 20cm apart.
Grow in pots or garden beds.
Pinch out growing tips regularly to encourage bushy growth and prevent flowering.
Harvest leaves as needed, taking care not to remove more than one-third of the plant at a time.
Water regularly to help prevent bolting.
