Description

Rosemary Prostratus is valued for its highly aromatic dark green foliage that remains in place all year round. Clusters of small flowers start to appear on the rosemary plant in spring and continue blooming throughout summer, often lasting into autumn. The pale blue flowers are nectar-rich and attract pollinators, including bees and butterflies, to the garden.

Rosemary are popular culinary herb plants useful for flavouring casseroles, sausages, soups, stews, and stuffing. Leaves from these outdoor herb plants complement lamb and fish well and make an excellent garnish for sauces, salads, and cordials. Rosemary can be harvested as required throughout the year and the leaves can be used either fresh or dried.

Although this low-growing rosemary bush is less vulnerable to wind damage than other outdoor plants, it still prefers a sheltered spot in full sun. Plant your prostrate rosemary plant in moist but well-draining soil and water it thoroughly during dry spells. Rosemary Prostratus is a welcome addition to any herb garden and is suitable for planting in beds and borders as well as in a garden pot or container.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
