Description
Hibiscus syriacus Woodbridge, known commonly as Rose of Sharon or Tree Hollyhock, is a flowering, upright, deciduous shrub with bushy, dark-green foliage. This beautiful shrub produces large deep pink flowers with dark red centres, from late Summer to early Autumn.
Plant in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Prefers a neutral or slightly alkaline soil. Position in full sun. Well suited as a feature plant in a bed or border, or in a pot or container as a standalone.
