Description
An interesting deciduous variety with large, glossy mid-green leaves. The Hydrangea ‘Kyushu’ is native to Japan and Southern China, with beautiful conical flower spikes appearing on upright stems above the foliage and carrying clusters of small cream-white flowers from late Summer and into the early Autumn months.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. If in regions of intense full sun, partially shaded areas may be preferable as full sun affect the growth of the plant and it will grow more compact. Newer growth may suffer damage from harsh winter frost, so some protection or shelter is advised.
