Description
One of the easiest ways to make your patio pop with colour, this Hydrangea ‘Pink Mophead’ Standard is a blooming marvel!
A stunning garden feature that turns heads from summer into autumn. The flowers are great big mopheads, up to 20cm across, in gorgeous shades of pink that shift slightly depending on your soil.
This variety has been expertly trained into a neat lollipop shape, with a tall, clean stem and a full head of foliage and blooms above, ideal for adding structure to your patio or height and interest to a border. Superb in pots and containers too, as it’s compact and easy to manage.
You can expect a long flowering period, starting in midsummer and carrying through to the first frosts. The flowers emerge as tight greenish buds, then open into huge, blousy heads of pink that last for weeks on end.
Plus, this hydrangea is low maintenance, fully hardy, thrives in part shade or sun, and doesn’t need tricky pruning. Just give it a tidy after the flowers fade, and it’s good to go again next year.
Supplied as an established standard plant in an 18cm pot, already 80-100cm tall, ready to plant.
