Hydrangea Polar Bear

Description

Hydrangea ‘Polar Bear’ is a low growing hardy decidous shrub with pointed, toothed leaves. In spring,besides the attractive greenery, this plant will begin to produce dense conical flower heads with a mellow lime-green colour, these large flowers soon change to a dusky pink colour around autumn.

A perfect addition to any mixed border or woodland garden, the flower heads can also be cut and are equally impressive as part of a dried flower arrangement. Very easy to grow, this hydrangea prefers any soil that is non-alkaline, and can be placed in either partial shade or a sunny position, provided it’s given adequate cover from cold, drying winds.
