Description
A gem of a plant for a semi-shady position. Slow in its first year, then when established it rapidly forms a large colony. Very free flowering with flowers held well above the foliage on erect 90 – 120cm (3 – 4ft) stems which do not need staking. They are an outstanding purple-pink, semi-double, pollen and nectar rich so are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. Three month flowering period from August to October. They will die down in the winter then re-shoot in the spring Cut stems down to the ground after flowering.
