For outdoor sowingWhen March to In a prepared seed bed in flowering Sow thinly in rows 15cm apart. Cover with 0.5cm fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed June to indoor sowingWhen February to In trays of seed Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 10-15° Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 15cm apart in flowering June to October
