Johnsons California Poppy Single Mix Seeds, Easy to grow,vibrant colours for sunny borders. Will generally do well in problem areas of poor or dry soil.
For outdoor sowingWhen March to June and August to October. Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart. Cover with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. Protect late sowings with cloches in cold June to October. Late sowings flower the following year.
An easy to grow, bright and cheerful mix of delicate poppy-like flowers with feathery foliage and drought tolerance. Excellent in the annual border and in containers.
