When March to May.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 13°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care Transplant to further trays if necessary. Stand outside for a few days June. Transplant to final position with 45cm between plants and rows. Firm in well and keep moist.
Harvest September to November.
For outdoor sowing
When May to June.
Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil and keep moist. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care When approx. 10cm tall transplant to final position with 45cm between plants and rows. Firm in well, keep moist and weed free.
Harvest October to December. Protect curds from sunlight by folding in the leaves.
