When February to April.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days.
Care When large enough transplant to 5cm trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers June to July, the same year.
For outdoor sowing
When April to July.
Where In a prepared seed bed or pots of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
Care When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position from September onwards.
Flowers May to July, the following year. Allow to shed seeds for future plants.
