Description

An extra large flat leaved parsley with a rich flavour loved by chefs. Shows tolerance against downy mildew. Sow outside or all year round indoors. For outdoor sowing
When March to July.
Where In growing position.
How Sow thinly, cover lightly with fine soil.
Care When large enough thin as necessary, spacing 20cm apart.
Harvest June onwards. Protect with cloches in autumn for longer cropping.
For indoor sowing
When All year round for pots indoors.
Where In pots of moist compost.
How Sow thinly, cover lightly with compost. Firm gently. Cover with clear glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 15-20°C. and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. Transplant to 15cm pots of compost, place in a light airy location.
Harvest All year round. Pick the leaves as required. Surplus leaves can be dried but better flavour is retained by freezing.
