For outdoor sowingWhen March to May or August to In a prepared seed bed in flowering Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering When large enough thin to 20cm apart. Keep moist and weed May to September. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering. Late sowings flower the following year.
Striking blooms with amazing prominent centres are followed by attractive and unusual seed pods. Delightful in borders and as cut flowers.
