For outdoor sowingWhen February to May, protect early sowings with cloches if soil is cold and In a prepared seed Sow thinly in rows 40cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-32 days. For a longer harvest season make an early and late Thin as necessary to a final spacing of 20cm. Replace any dislodged soil. Keep moist and weed October to February. Leave roots in the ground as flavour is improved by frost. Lift remaining roots in February and store undamaged roots in sand in a dry frost-free area.
British bred vigorous hybrid with long roots of exhibition quality. Shows good resistance to canker and has great flavour, perfect for roasting.
