For outdoor sowingWhen March to early In a prepared seed bed, in flat drills 15cm wide and 5cm deep. Protect early sowings with Sow in a zig-zag pattern along the drill allowing 5cm between seeds. Space drills 60cm apart. Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 10-18 Protect younger plants from birds with twigs or netting. Provide support with pea sticks or netting for easier picking, especially in windy locations. Keep moist and weed free at all June to October. Pick regularly for the best yields.
A well known and popular, versatile dwarf variety, very suitable for an additional summer sowing in June or early July to give an early autumn harvest. Produces masses of narrow, dark green, well-filled pods crammed with delicious, juicy peas.
