Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear in 7-14 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care For baby leaf no thinning is required. For mature plants, when large enough thin to 10cm apart. Do not allow plants to dry out, this prevents them running to seed prematurely.
Harvest May to October. Take a few leaves from each plant, they will regrow for up to 3 or 4 cuts or pick whole mature plants. Add to lettuce and mild leaves for a stronger flavoured salad.
